For such a small town, Blowing Rock has an amazing collection of outstanding restaurants. From five-star dining to fantastic pizza, Blowing Rock restaurants offer enough variety to satisfy any palate. Our chefs are talented and passionate. Original and creative menus are standard for many establishments.

Fire on the Rock, an annual culinary competition, showcases this creativity. Several local restaurants have also been finalists in the Best Dish NC contest over the past few years, with Crippen’s Restaurant taking first place in 2006.

You can also find southern standards here in town, like great barbeque and livermush. If you have a sweet tooth, Kojay’s offers delicious pastries and Kilwin’s is known for amazing ice cream and fudge. You can even find several places to take that afternoon coffee break.
